Ms. Cordero is a respected HR practitioner with more than thirty years of experience in various human resource areas;  specializing in manpower and organization planning and development; labor and employee relations; motivational programs and management of change.

A graduate of B.S. Psychology from the University of the Philippines, she has honed her skills through extensive training in labor management, manpower and management development, organization development. She is a certified trainor and facilitator of various programs, such as Seven Habits and Frontline Leadership.

She has had extensive exposure in various business installations having worked with San Miguel Corporation starting as a Training Specialist and eventually becoming an HR Manager in Manila Glass Plant and Metal Closure & Lithography Plants in San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corporation and an HR Consultant for the Food Group.

She also served as a Country Administration Manager for Indonesia and China, she reported to the President of San Miguel Corporation on the business, operations, financial situation, sales and marketing efforts, logistics management and human resource activities of the different installations in the said countries. This gave her a deeper understanding and valuable insights about the business making her more as a business partner than just an HR practitioner.

After years of service in San Miguel Corporation she moved on to serve as an HR Manager and HR Consultant in other Corporations in the construction industry.

She is a member of the Chartered Association of Business Administrators (CABA) of Canada. This is a premier professional body for business management professionals in North America and Asia.Ms Cordero was a three term President of the East Canlubang Industrial Park Assoc Inc and a Board member of the HR Managers Association of Canlubang.
